Hi, I’ve recently moved to Scotland to be closer to family due to my circumstances. I’m currently on PIP and have a Motability car, and I’ve applied for ADP.
From what I understand, it’s not an automatic transfer anymore, which has me a bit worried. I’ve seen people online saying ADP decisions can take months, and I’m unsure what happens in the meantime.
My main concern is what happens after the 13-week PIP run-on period ends—especially regarding my Motability car. I’m not sure how I’d manage without it.
Has anyone gone through this process recently? How long did your ADP decision take, and what happened with your payments and car during the transition?
