I want to buy a BMW E46 325Ci. The car is from Germany and has 185,000 km on it. It would cost me €3,000. The car has been regularly serviced, with no rust or welded repairs — basically a really clean example. As someone who has mostly driven Japanese cars and never really had to worry because those things survive almost anything, I’d like to know what kind of expenses and maintenance costs you guys have had with a car like this.
