We live in western New York. Tomorrow we have our Vita Spas Monarque getting delivered. Our plan is to build a deck in the near future and locate it there. In the meantime, I've dug out and filled a stone patio where it will go for now (which will eventually be used for the grill and smoker!).
The issue we have is the pad I ordered a week ago is in delivery limbo according to UPS. I highly doubt that it will be arriving on time. So I'm stuck with buying an 8x8 Confer Pad from the dealer tomorrow for close to $800, or going without.
My questions to all of you are: is putting the tub on the stone acceptable? Are there alternatives I can get from Lowes / Home Depot? Or should I bite the bullet and get the Confer Pad?
