My 3 year old Cocker Spaniel was just diagnosed with a MCT. The vet is removing tomorrow and sending out for pathology. She mentioned that there is a treatment that can be made from part of the tumor, she compared it to a vaccine, which would then be given to the dog in a few office visits. I can’t seem to find anything about this treatment online and was curious if anyone is familiar with it and can explain the mechanism behind it. Thank you.
