Hey guys, I need some help. I have a Gigabyte B850m Eagle wifi6e motherboard, I was using it fine, and I still do, but I only have one 8GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 RAM stick. I'm using a Ryzen 5 8500G processor with integrated graphics, a basic PC for internet browsing. I tried testing the motherboard's RAM slots, and only slots 2 and 4 work. When I put the RAM in slots 1 and 3, the red error LED on the motherboard lights up, and the PC doesn't turn on. What could be the problem? A friend told me that maybe slots 1 and 3 don't work in single channel, and that if I put one RAM stick in both slots 1 and 3 to make it dual channel, it will work. Is that true? And why do slots 2 and 4 work? Currently, the 8GB is in slot 4.
