Thinking of getting a gravel bike, probably would ride the levee trails the most as I’m in Dallas. Are those generally safe to ride solo? They seem to be isolated and away from intersections, so wasn’t sure if I’d find a lot of broken glass or encampments out there.

What else is around Dallas for gravel rides? Already have a mountain bike and road bike, so trying to decide how much I’d ride gravel…..like the idea of just picking up the levee trails up near harry hines and shorecrest, and riding down to downtown and back.

Got some Bends and pair of Oswego’s, and the size is right, but when I wear them too long, the material across the top of my feet start to get super uncomfortable. The upper is a bit tight. Going up a size is too big. Do I just need to wear them more to loosen the uppers? They are leather suede if that matters, and my suede bostons fit perfectly in same size
