mixed signals?
Hey guys, I just wanted to get some advice on this guy that I think I might like as he’s giving some very mixed signals and I’m not sure if I’m misinterpreting anything.
We run in the same friendship circle and share about two classes together and met about two months ago at the start of the semester, and I was under the impression that we clicked quickly as he always seems genuinely interested in conversation and asks me questions regularly whenever we hang out. We study together in our friend group in between classes at uni and while I’ve always found him physically attractive I’ve come to really enjoy his presence and sense of humour. However, I’ve been confused about one thing: our online interactions, especially on instagram.
Our group exchanged instagrams fairly early in the semester and this guy particularly has liked every single one of my stories that I have posted since we followed each other, which I’ve been surprised about. I’m not sure if this is something he regularly does with his friends as I haven’t consulted the other members of the group yet, but even my closest childhood friends don’t like every single story or note that I post.
However, on DMs it is a whole different story. I was the one to initiate conversation first about a week ago and since then, I have been the one asking all the questions, intiating all the new topics while he gives dry and closed responses to every single text’ I am just confused if he even likes me as a friend because genuinely it seems like he is being held at gunpoint to respond to my texts. This is so weird as well because he is nothing like this in person.
TLDR; guy I think I‘m developing feelings for is super friendly IRL, likes all my stories but acts like a brick wall when I text him, are we even friends??
