Engine leaking oil…. How bad is it?
Took my car to the shop to get an oil change and they showed me some photos of my engine leaking oil. I heard it’s an expensive fix since depending on the leak it might require taking the engine out.
My plan right now is to get an engine bay cleaning/detail done and monitor the oil level and seepage for the next 1000 miles. Here’s some photos that I got from the mechanic.
Car is at 95k miles. Have not done any reseal jobs so far.
