I hate when somebody is recorded having a genuine medical emergency and it goes viral because they “look possessed.”

I hate when somebody is recorded having a genuine medical emergency and it goes viral because they “look possessed.”

I’ve seen so much horror slop where somebody is recorded having a seizure, a psychotic episode, or something caused by an abnormality in their brain and instead of it being treated the way it should be, people spread the idea that they’re probably “possessed” or “cursed” or they “did witchcraft.” It’s so genuinely disgusting and insensitive. In the video pictured, a man has a seizure that looks a bit “out of the ordinary,” so it’s treated like something supernatural is happening. In the same video, a clip of a young girl is shown where she is literally DYING. And despite the revelation that bacteria was found in her brain during her autopsy, people are preferring to say it was because her friends put a curse on her, and instead of getting her the help she needed, the people around her just record- as if it’s some Genovese effect. If a seizure I had was recorded and people started saying I was possessed, I would genuinely feel so angry and embarrassed over being belittled online and made a spectacle for something I can’t control.

We've developed a factive/historical introject and I don't really like it or understand it.

To make a long story short, a factive of Antinous from Ancient Rome is a new addition to the headspace. I can't seem to navigate how I feel about him, but for now, I am very negative. I'm not sure if it's because of who he is specifically, some type of deep rooted issue regarding how people may perceive us now, or if it's because I hate change and we've never had a historical introject. Can any other systems with these types of introjects (historical, media, influencer, anything of the sort, though I'm mostly interested in talking to anybody with a historical introject.) offer some type of support or clarity on what it's really going to be like with him here?? I'm not sure if that makes sense, but I'm just kind of unsure of how to cope with it. I hope I also don't come off as rude because of how I'm acting about him, but I also cannot speak with him.
