Why Do I Keep Getting Ghosted?
I get asked out a lot online, men seem really interested in me when we text before we meet, we have a date that I think goes well and then they ghost. I’m starting to get a complex over it. I consider myself decently attractive and put together. I use recent photos, I have good hygiene, dress appropriately. I can carry a conversation and my dates seem to go well with great conversation and then I get ghosted. It’s really getting to me and making me want to stop trying online dating. It’s affecting my self esteem at this point. I feel like my sense of humor and communication style is the same in person as in text, and I’m very confused why they ghost after meeting me. I’ve even had men tell me I look better in person and that just confuses me more. My friends have said maybe I’m not flirty enough, maybe it’s because I’m not hooking up on the date or showing enough interest, I had a few men tell me I was intimidating. I can’t even ask most of the guys why they ghost me because when I text after the date saying I had a great time, they don’t even respond to me 😭. Does this happen to anyone else? What could be going wrong? Is it like my friends think I’m just not flirty enough or hooking up with them so they’re moving on?
