Server intentionally crossing out policy on tipping on bill to make it seem like we need to tip

Ate at Il Piatto in Washington DC. Noticed the policy while walking in and thought that’s fine I normally tip that. The food was absolutely amazing as well as the drinks and was thinking about an additional tip but this turned me completely off and I thought it was scummy to intentionally cross out the part of the policy stating “tips are not expected” with a little smiley face.

Where can I find off-road diesel in Fairfax?

I have a diesel tractor and I’m trying to find a local station the sells off-road diesel in small quantities (10 to 15 gallons) from a pump without a fleet or bulk purchase contracts. I’m willing to go into Prince William providing the cost of travel doesn’t eat into the tax savings per gallon. Recommendations?

Please don't fall for this

Educate your neighbors not to fall for this Orwellian BS. It will be used as a stepping stone to further infringe on your constitutional rights and control you. It will not prevent crime. It may or may not help arrest people who may or may not have committed a crime.

Don't trust the language here - "police can contact you to check for footage during an incident in your area." Soon they'll ask for more access, and we don't know how the footage will be used. Maybe it will be used to track peaceful protestors, or immigrants, as Flock is doing already.

Never talk to the police. Invoke your 5th amendment rights, shut the f up, and only talk to your lawyer if you're arrested.

Lemon Law Regarding Wonky GMC Infotainment System

I have a 2025 Sierra 1500 Elevation withe the Bose Infotainment system. It has glitched since the first day (mostly sound cutting out) and I have read on line that GM is fully aware of the issue, but has yet to solve it. Further, the problem was known to GM before it sold me the truck. GMC therefore sold me a flawed product and is unable to fix it. My state allows lemon law claims for the first 18 months of ownership.

Has anyone gone down the lemon laws path with GMC, whether for the sound system or something else?
