Mod ideas to do to my Leon

Looking for tasteful visual mod ideas to do my 2017 SEAT Leon 1.6TDI in blue

So far ive added a body kit and changed my indicators to dynamic indicators on the mirror. Want more advice. Also considering doing a remap so whats the pros and cons and general consensus of a stage 1 remap

Is it worth upgrading

For context, I bought a 2017 SEAT LEON 1.6TDI SE DYNAMIC TECHNOLOGY for £9,250 @ 72,000 miles from a dealership local to me at the end of January. I thought the car was great and am happy with it however I wish I got the FR or even a higher spec purely for the headlights. I love the LED headlights but didn’t think of this prior to purchasing.

The other day I was casually scrolling and found a 2019 SEAT LEON 2.0TDI XCELLENCE LUX in the same colour as my car at the same mileage for £11,495. It was my dream spec lol and the damn thing is I wish I saw this before buying my current one. I phoned about a part exchange / trade in and was given £7,000. This stings because I just spent £9250 but I figure privately I could sell for maybe £8000? I was told I overpaid for my car at £9,250 and yeah it sucks. Just coming on here to ask is it worth paying the difference from a part exchange / selling it to upgrade? (Basically is it worth taking a loss to get the newer better spec) Is the 2.0TDI better, more efficient and more reliable? I’ve heard the 2.0TDI is better than the 1.6TDI. Any opinions let me know (I could just be always looking for the next best thing lol and never truly be satisfied)

Gauge cluster staying illuminated

Whenever I drive with just my sidelights on in my 2017 SEAT LEON 1.6TDI SE DYNAMIC TECHNOLOGY the gauge cluster dims/entirely switches off. Is there anyway to keep it on like it would do when the full lights are on

Just wanted to come on here for some guidance lol. I’m doing my A-level exams at the minute and am in my last year of school. Just not sure what I want to do next or what my available pathways are strictly staying in Northern Ireland. I have an offer from Queen’s but just can’t decide whether Uni is for me or not. I have a passion for computers and wish I signed up for degree apprenticeships to be honest as they would’ve been my ideal. Don’t want to purely go to uni as I’m sick of just learning after the last 14 years lol. Any one else share their experiences of what they did upon leaving school and what my other options are? Thanks
