Should I take a job at a national park this summer? worried about fire season
I got a job offer at a national park on the west coast in a beautiful area by the water, and I thought it could be fun to be surrounded by nature for the summer and try something new out. I have a virtual teaching job I'll do at the same time, but I'm wondering if it's worth it to be sort of trapped (I won't have a car while I'm there), far away from friends, in a national park for the summer especially with all of the high fire risk...
I also wonder if I'm putting too much on my plate by having the teaching job and the national park job at the same time, and trying to accomplish some side-goals in my free time (applying for more jobs, preparing for a big exam...)
Wondering what others would do in my situation... should I just stay in my city for the summer and focus on other goals? Thanks for reading!
