Hey all! I have a question about my 2017 Honda CRV. It’s got around 103,000 miles, and the engine and turbo failed due to sludge buildup and smoke in the tailpipes. Currently, the car won't move forward or backward. When the issue happened, it was violent shaking, and I could smell melted plastic. It made it home but had to be towed. Right now, the shop is quoting $11k for a used engine with 65k miles and a new turbocharger plus labor. I’m also getting an estimate from the local Honda dealership where we bought it. Basically, I'm wondering what its worth any chance of figuring that out? And does anyone know a good source to get a fair valuation? Appreciate it!!
