Cost per month at UF

Hi everyone! Right now I’m waiting for my UF transfer decision, but one of the main things that could keep me from attending is the cost.

I’m an in-state transfer student (not a U.S. citizen), and I wanted to ask how much students in a similar situation usually spend per month at UF. Right now I’d probably be paying around $800/month just for housing, and I’m not sure if that’s financially realistic once I add everything else.

How much do you usually spend monthly including rent, food, utilities, transportation, etc.? Also, are there any scholarships, grants, or financial aid opportunities that helped make UF more affordable for you as a transfer student?

Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for FAFSA, so I’m especially interested in hearing from students who were in a similar situation.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day!

EDIT: Also, I forgot to mention that I’d also like to know how much students usually end up paying monthly/per semester to UF itself (tuition + fees), especially transfer students without FAFSA and I’ll be living off-campus.
