had to give up spot at uchicago
title basically. got in ed2 in feb but fin aid screwed me, my parents are high earners but i live in an expensive state so most of it is gone just from living costs and my parents' retirement money isnt in a retirement account so aid was very little. like ik this happens to thousands of students every year but damn it sucks. thought of going international but just dont know if its worth it with the cost and current state of the world. committed to my state school rn but might withdraw if i decide on international, just feel like i failed ig 🥲
