The damage output of the Scudding Verge (Rolling Surf) essence falls short of expectations—even when taking into account the fact that *all* of Tempest's new i12 Essences are centered around this very ability.
It makes no sense that other tank classes can withstand every attack—and remain completely unscathed even after taking a direct full hit from it—and can easily kill Tempest simply by activating all their buffs and standing still while using only basic attacks, whereas Tempest must constantly dart back and forth just to dodge incoming attacks and still cannot deal any meaningful damage using this essence. Scudding Verge essence is a great new mechanic for the Tempest class, and I sincerely hope that everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy this new playstyle in battleground. To ensure this essence doesn't end up forgotten like others, I would like to respectfully request a damage buff. Thank you.
