Islamically speaking, am I required to financially provide for my parents if they don’t want to work?

My parents are immigrants to the US with no formal education. They are in their 50s and 60s. I am 1 of 9 children with 6 being younger than me. I’m the eldest daughter. My dad stopped working a proper 9 to 5 many years ago in pursuit of a failed business and we mostly relied on government support. I finished uni and work as a nurse. I cover most of the household bills but it’s starting to wear down on me. I want to build my life but I had to build my parents lives first before I could even think about mine. I helped them raise my younger siblings and as soon as I could get a job I started financially supporting them as well. I’m tired. My parents were also verbally, emotionally and physically abusive towards us, so not only did we receive little financial support, little educational support but we also did not feel safe in our home or bodies. I want to cut them off financially but I feel guilt. Like I’m doing something wrong even though I’ve always been the helpful daughter. Now in my 30s, I have lost tremendous respect for them as individuals because I’ve realized they did the bare minimum to keep us alive.
