I think I’ve been in a very aggressive calorie deficit for years without realizing it. Despite doing a lot of exercise and eating very little, I haven’t been able to lose my abdominal fat.

About 3 weeks ago, I started eating to satiety without counting calories, focusing only on foods aligned with Ray Peat’s philosophy.

Is it normal to gain some weight at the beginning while the metabolism recovers, and then eventually start burning fat more easily, like he suggests?
