Hey Everyone, I recently ordered a Moka Pot and it was first brew today. I followed all the instructions carefully but still my Moka pot is angrily sputtering from the start. I tried again in the eveing and this time it was so slow that after 2-5 mins I only got like 10-15ml shot that too was sputtered.
I used CCD 100% Pre ground coffee. (sandy texture)
I used hot water in the bottom chamber.
I also didn't tamper the grounds, I gently tapped it to even it out.
I'm using the Sipologie 3 cup Moka Pot
I also used a small stand like an induction plate and used the lowest level of flame on the smallest knob.
Where am I doing something wrong? Is it the coffee? Is it the water temp or is it the brewing process? Or is it because my coffee grounds rise too much after extraction. Because after the first try, I saw that the coffee was fluffy and it rose in volume. I am a student and It is my first time using moka pot hence the cheap moka pot and the okayish beans. Please help.
