Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anyone has been in my situation, and comfortable with sharing your experiences! I am 20 weeks and 6 days pregnant with a baby boy. I have previously had the NIPT and Horizon tests, and genetically everything looks good. I had my anatomy scan today, and it shows a bright spot in the heart, as well as a strangely textured bowel. My OB said that while the bright spot in the heart wouldn’t probably be a concern on its own, she is concerned about the combination of that with the bowel abnormality. I am waiting for a call from the high risk ultrasound clinic, and that will likely be scheduled 2ish weeks out! I am going to go crazy before that! im curious if anyone has had a similar experience, or if anyone knows what outcomes would be possible with this info! the doctor did say that cystic fibrosis for example would be almost impossible, due to my NIPT showing no sign of that. unless it’s just a CRAZY rare version. just curious and anxious about the whole situation and really wish I didn’t have to wait to go in! everything has felt great and the baby is moving like crazy and I just didn’t expect a scary reading! thank you in advance!!
