I have a 1972 Ford F250 with the bench seat that I am thinking about replacing. I found a bench seat that is out of a 2000 F250 super duty that was a rear bench seat. I don't know if it is strange to put a rear bench as the front seat in an old truck but it is very appealing to me because of the flip down cupholder/armrest in the middle. I know that there will definitely be some fabrication that will need to happen to swap the original seat to this seat, but I am wondering if there is anything that I should know if I were to go forward with this swap: major drawbacks, difficulties, where to start, anything. The seat in question is posted.
