My [24M] partner tells me [20F] I'm too controlling.
I, 20F recently moved in with my 24M partner (about 2/3 months ago) We'd been together for a year and half before we moved into the same apartment. My partner is notoriously known for being late-he was late 5+ hours on christmas dinner with my family. He's more often then not, picked me up hours late for dates. Anyways, one day after we moved in, he goes to the gym and doesn't come back until 7AM. I told him this wasn't acceptable, that he's in a relationship and that I'd be willing to meet him in the middle by asking him to be back before 2AM anytime he wants to go to the gym (I have 2 jobs and need to be up early, he's currently unemployed and gives me rides to work). Anyways, he told me he was going to the gym last night at 9PM, I asked him to be back before 2AM. I honestly don't like sleeping alone when I'm supposed to be living with my partner. He called me controlling and left, It's currently 6AM and he's still not back. How can I des-escalate the situation and articulate my POV?
