I’ve recently received an offer from micro1 for an AI training role at $30/hour, which broadly aligns with my background (AI training experience + English/Cantonese).
I’m genuinely interested in proceeding, but I’ve hit a bit of a wall trying to get some fairly basic points to be discussed before signing.
I asked the Talent Ops contact to confirm:
- Whether this is specifically for the Cantonese Bilingual Expert role
- Expected project duration
- Rough weekly hours
- Whether there’s any flexibility on the rate (given the advertised $25–50 range), my AI experiences and language proficiency
I’ve followed up a couple of times now, but haven’t had a direct answer to any of the above just a pointer to a generic FAQ which doesn’t cover these points.
At the same time, there’s been a push to sign the contract quickly and complete onboarding/KYC.
I’m not trying to be difficult - I’d just like to speak to an actual person who can clearly discuss the role details and terms before committing.
Has anyone here had a similar experience with micro1? Or is anyone from the team able to shed some light?
