I’m a burnt out corporate worker who is highly considering becoming a flight attendant in my mid to late 30s. I mostly want to change fields for health insurance, a flexible schedule once I get seniority, and the travel benefits (I’m fully aware the first 1-3 years will be brutal with reserve).
Tell me your worst horror stories or reasons you would not become a flight attendant. I need a reality check and some folks to help level my expectations.
What are the hardest parts about the job? The most unsavory? Things you generally dislike about the job?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I have significant savings so the money concerns are small (I did very well in climbing the corporate ladder and have some good runway)
