I am looking to replace my dearly departed redmi note 9t that ive had for 3ish years. Before that, i had a redmi 8, and those two phones each lasted me way longer than any of the phones ive had before them.
So, the initial plan was to stay with xiaomi, hoping the next phone id get would hopefully last me 3 more years at least, but an employee that nearly bullied me into buying an oppo reno 14f pointed out that xiaomi phones are very unoptimized, so i am open to other possibilities.
I checked the redmi 15 pro but i dislike the curved display screen due to past experience.
(It fell once. It died instantly.)
Im not a phone gamer, but i spend a LOT of time in discord calls and watching youtube. I would ideally want a phone that lasts long enough, doesnt overheat during calls and can sustain the damage from me dropping it at least once a week. With decent storage, but my bar is low. Redmi 9t only had 64gb.
That, and i need it to have an audio jack. I have not switched to wireless earphones yet. Im broke and very particular about audio quality. Sd card slot also needed.
I do not care for pictures, and i refuse to sell my soul to Apple.
Problem: my budget is limited to the 290€ worth of vouchers i have. (≈340 dollars or something)
Any suggestions? I will look at anything you guys throw at me. I just need a direction :( thank yall
