Advice on too much forward roll on strike shots as a 2H bowler - Help!

For context, I’m a 2H 3-step bowler averaging around 140, about one year into bowling seriously. I cup the ball on my forearm at start.
For the past couple of months, I’ve been struggling with too much forward roll / low axis rotation. The ball tends to roll very end-over-end, which makes it difficult to open up angles or create shape downlane.
I’ve been analyzing videos of my release and noticed that as I go through the ball during the follow-through, my palm often ends up facing upward instead of staying more on the side of the ball. It almost feels like both fingers are trying to exit at the same time, causing me to “palm up” through release.
I’m wondering:
- Is this more of a physical game issue?
- Should I exaggerate the follow-through or hand position?
- Could this be related to fit/pitches?
- Any drills or cues that helped you increase axis rotation naturally without forcing it?
Had my ball plugged and getting it redrilled soon (layout change). My pitches are 3/4 reverse for both 1/4 <- middle 1/2 -> ring lateral.
Any advice is appreciated!
