It’s been a week since our first date & he hasn’t asked me for a second one although we’ve been communicating. Is he just not interested?
Me (F27) & this guy (M31) have been texting and FaceTiming for a couple of months after matching on Bumble. We live 2 hours apart and right now he is working 6-7 days a week, so it’s not exactly the easiest for us to get together.
Last week, we finally drove to each other to meet in the middle and had dinner which turned into a great 4 hour date. When walking me to my car, he expressed how he wants to do this again and mentioned other places we could meet in the future. We part ways and a bit later he texts me to make sure I got home safe, and also once again mentioned the great night he had and how he wants to see me again. I agreed.
Since then, we have been texting throughout the week, and the other night he asked to FaceTime. We were on the phone for 3 hours until I said I had to go to bed. He never once brought up a second date. I understand our distance & his schedule doesn’t make meeting up frequently the easiest, and that’s fine, but I would think he would at least bring it up so we could have something planned?
I’m considering mentioning it myself, but I don’t want to mention it if he’s not interested only to be rejected. It’s been a full week at this point since first date and nothing, so can I safely assume he’s just not interested in seeing me again?
