I was wondering if anyone remembers the electronic typewriters?

I don't know how popular they were. I remember growing up in the schools for disabled kids and the kids who had problems holding a pen and writing often found typing easier, so they got to use one of these during class. It often came in a carry bag.

This was still during the BBC Micro era in the UK.

I'm from the UK, so I don't know what happens in other countries. But did anyone growing up go to schools specifically for disabled people?

Both of my main schools were fully attended by disabled people. I only went to mainstream, as we called the normies schools, when I went to college.

I know after I'd left the government was trying to encourage/force disabled kids into mainstream schools with a personal assistant. I don't really think it works out that well over all.

There were kids that would go to a mainstream high school. But many couldn't cope and within months they would appear in the special school. Btw, that's what the disabled schools were referred to as 'special schools'.

My main issue seems to be bloating from water being held in the stomach for ages and then doesn't fully absorb into my body.

Because I have other conditions that effect my breathing the doctor put me on water tablets. Whilst these might help with removing water it's also making my hydration situation worse.

There must be a better way?
