Episode 1 was fine, but there are a few things that pissed me off.

But first, some context. I have seen Black and White before. It was the first show I watched all the way through as a kid, so I’m gonna have some nostalgia bias.

I have an issue with the dialogue that is very difficult for me to explain. Parts of it sound off. Like “Pikachu, psyched?” Sounds weird rather than “Pikachu, are you psyched?”

After Zekrom came, it made Pikachu weaker, so Professor Juniper did all sorts of tests. However, after he found out that it was unable to use electric type moves, she tested him again. Wouldn’t a Pokemon Professor test that already? Idk, I’m not a scientist, but that’s really weird imo.

Ok, unpopular opinion: Ash’s loss to trip is kinda understandable. If your Pikachu couldn’t use its strongest moves, wouldn’t you be discombobulated?

I HATE TRIP SO MUCH!! He’s a douche to Ash for no reason other than thinking that he’s better than him. Wanna know why? Because, he thinks Kanto is the “Boonies.” That’s racist and xenophobic asf.

As of rn, those are all my issues. This watch through will not be easy.

I like the stubble look on me, but I’m not sure if it’s the right thing to do for me. Lmk what y’all think. Also, be as mean as you want to be, I respond well to negative criticism.

Edit: In the comments, I said that I like to be androgynous, but I what I meant to say is that I don’t care about how I present. I dress and look like a guy, but I’ve accepted and love my feminine side. Sometimes, I’m more feminine, sometimes I’m more masculine, and sometimes I’m both. I don’t want to pick a single look.
