This is my first time posting here and I am not sure if I am even at the right place. But I desperately need help and to hear other people’s opinions so here we go. I am married for 10 years with 2 kids. Woman, main breadwinner in the family since we have been together. Never asked for much.. what I needed and what the kids need, I provide for… never went to any trips, other than ones that are close, my husband is just stingy with money… and I never ask for much.. After a long time I am happy with my job, working with women and I was invited to join the company in a different state on an all paid 5 star hotel, beautiful destination trip for 3 days. My husband is not just NOT happy for me, but when I told him he ignored me, then started fighting with me, humiliating my job saying they are only calling me there to be a hostess… a lot of nasty things in general… after he calmed down the next day - after thinking he killed my desire to go, when the subject was mentioned again, he said he doesn’t want me to go.. and then started talking about my fear of flying, that I would faint and die on the plane… that I will get lost and kidnapped… ! But I am going to an event where everything is organized… transfers, stay, I would travel alone but not be alone there… I really don’t know how deal with this… I am basically just working, making sure we have a decent life, lost all my friends, never go out… and no one, not even my husband has offered to do something this nice for me!! Please someone tell me how to deal with him… I am sick and tired of him braking me…
