I got my navel piercing on March 30, and as of May 5 it’s been healing really smoothly.. minimal crusting, barely any redness, swelling, hardly any crust formed during this time, and no pain anymore. In about a month and a half, I’ll be going to the beach in Greece, so by then the piercing will be around 2.5 months old.
I tend to heal piercings pretty quickly, and so far this one has been no trouble at all. That said, I know 2.5 months is still relatively early for a navel piercing.
If my healing continues this smoothly, would it be safe to swim in the ocean, or is it still too soon? if something i was thinking that maybe i could get some waterproof skin tape to put it over the piercing but i heard thats not the best idea
