These Gobi 2s are completely worn out, I can even slide on dry asphalt while wearing them!

Despite their condition, I really appreciate the leather and have a sentimental attachment to them. I'm wondering if it's possible to have them resoled by a cobbler and have the leather reshaped to a more conventional form.

Is such a restoration viable? 🤔
