143 score

So one day without studying or even thinking I decided to take the practice lsat. It was timed, so obviously I am not skilled, and ran out of time for about 8 questions. My score was a 143 second Pt a 148. I recently purchased the loophole aiming for a 170 since my gpa is a 3.0. Are these good starter scores?

I have a question about splitters for Law school applications

Im worried about my GPA i had legal trouble that caused a dip in my grades and had to leave school however i got admitted again but had to explain the issue. My GPA Is a 3.0 and I am aiming for a high Lsat is that be a good strategy to get accepted in law school. Also i am a nonviolent felon 11 years ago. Ive always wished to be an attorney, but im scared i am wasting my money and time.
