So this week I decided to purchase the Lito X1 after watching a ton of reviews and checking out the spec in detail. I already had the Neo 2 and the Flip, but decided to go for the Lito X1 for better wind resistence, and also the slightly better sensor and increase in dynamic range (or at least so I thought).
But here's where it gets a little interesting. I took it out for a test flight against my Flip. Unsurprisingly it was more stable, and generally flew quite a bit better than the Flip did in slightly gusty conditions. However when comparing the stills photos i was slightly disappointed in the overall quality. The Flip images look pretty damn sharp as they always have. And while the Lito X1 images look ok. When zooming in to do a little pixel peeping, they simply aren't as sharp and clear as the Flip images, and seem to exhibit a little more noise too.
Now with the specs on paper this really shouldn't be the case, and the difference isn't exactly night and day, but it is noticable. So I wonder. Have we been sold on some false promises? Or have I simply got a dud that it potentially faulty? I'll include a couple of unedited files for you to see for yourself as well as some sample gallery links too.
Would appreciate any feedback especially from anyone else who has the Lito X1
