hi Reddit, I am doing some renovations and need your help to design my living space so that I know where to put power socets the TV unit etc.

Apologies for the potato quality photo but I want to understand what's the best configuration for TV, couch(s), dining table, anything else. I'm removing the divider between the meals and living room and I want to make it feel open. Not sure if I should put the couch facing the north wall or if that would create an artificial divide and make the room feel cramped.

Any advice welcome. Thanks!
