Precision 7680 i9 thermals?

Hi guys,

I'm looking into buying precision 7680 with i9 (only config available at Dell refurbished). I will mainly use it in RAM and somewhat CPU heavy workloads.

What would the thermals be does it throttle a lot? What is it at idle? What is your experience in general?

Hi guys,

I am planning to get another laptop, since i gifted my previous Precision 7670 to my girlfriend.

I am looking into purchasing 7680 from dellrefurbished and i am wondering whether it is worth it. I am looking specifically for the i9, rtx 3500, 64 gb ram version.

My previous 7670 was i7, rtx 3000, 64 gb ram. The performance of the laptop was great despite some weird plastic smell for a couple of months after i got it. It was running a little hot but since my loads were primarily CPU and no GPU or vice versa it stayed relatively cool not going above 80C under the 100% CPU load.

Can you share your experience with the 7680s how were the temps and performance, and whether i should go with it or not?

Hi everyone!

I have just received my new pair of glasses. I have never had glasses this expensive, (my previous daily drivers were Zennis) therefore i don't want to mess them up in the long run.

They come with the Sapphire HR coating, that I am still adjusting to, and i am trying to figure out how do I clean them. My skin is very oily and unfortunately i dont have enough time to wash them every hour or so. I tried wiping them with the microfiber cloth that came with them but doesnt take any oil of. There is still a lot of smudges. Therefore i tried using the generic microfiber cloth like the one they sell in Walmart or Sams Club. I used to wipe my previous glasses with it and it worked perfectly, and works good on these as well but it left very small scratches that are barely visible. They are thinner than the human hair and are only visible when the light is perpendicular to the glasses and when they have this violet glare thats when they show up.

Is it okay or i should go to the optometry to have the optometrist to have a look at them?

How should i go about cleaning them?
