Almost 7 weeks of being in contract we got the keys. A month of viewing properties followed by tempering expectations. The nerves of competing against 2 other offers, turned out ours was the only one not contingent on something. Dreading the inspection report, it was just minor repairs but all just weekend projects. Going back and forth to get the right termite inspection form for the VA loan. A week and a half of rushing to the end fighting work schedules and planned life events. Tonight we did it, thank you to everyone in this community for good advice and sympathetic ears. The best advice I can give from this experience is a good realtor is worth their weight in gold. Have a good night everyone I am going to crash hard tonight.
