So I've been surviving fine, this is my first run on Week One/bandits. Im on day 4, have guns and ammo out the wazoo, swat gear, and food to last a lifetime. My companions refused to pick up guns and i needed to catch some shut eye in a place where the npc's dont respawn. I parked my truck out in the boonies and slept in the driver seat. While i was sleeping 3 groups of bandits, a biker gang, and an army unit spawned in. They began swinging at me in my sleep, when i woke up they instantly broke the window and killed me in about 1 second.
That is entirely too many bandits for being in the middle of nowhere. How is anyone supposed to survive against this mechanic? I cant barricade, the npc's respawn in their own homes. I cant sleep in a forest, evidently its full of biker gangs and bandits. I cant stay home, someone barged in through my door so i shot them and got the cops camping my front door. I cant equip my followers with weapons, and they cant be trusted to even feed themselves.
10/10 will definitely turn down/off bandits next time.
