Radiator Replacement - Messy?
We had some standard white panel radiators, and wanted them replacing with nice grey column radiators.
They were fitted yesterday, and all four look like this. Appreciate the hole is difficult to cover, but aren't there different colour pipes they could have used? Didn't even think to ask about the pipe colours.
Some they've taken the old brackets off, and we've got unpainted areas and unfilled holes behind column radiators. Ignore the smart TRV, that's me!
Should I have told them exactly what pipes we want, and asked them to tidy up behind? We've hired a professional, and surely they'd be advising us?! We're getting them back next week, but otherwise I'm going to have to take them off myself, tidy the walls, paint the pipes and re-fit on the new brackets.
