Twins turning 1 and things are hard
My b/g twins are turning 1 this weekend and they’re amazing and smart and funny and I simply adore them but yowza this has been kicking my ass lately.
Idk if I was subconsciously thinking turning 1 would magically make life easier but lately I’m just feeling a little burnt out. They’re not walking or standing without support yet but want to constantly be standing and practicing. They also have a new obsession with climbing (especially on me) but they’re not great at it yet so they get annoyed and start crying. Helping them stand and climb all day alone is so hard especially while still trying to pump 6 times a day.
I’m struggling to keep them entertained all day long and still have not ventured out of the house with both of them alone yet (thankful to have a husband who can flex his work schedule to help with appointments as needed).
I really don’t know what I’m looking for from this post. Maybe some advice? Some “I’ve been there too, it gets better”s? Tips for simple entertainment when solo with twins that does not involve leaving the house or screen time?
