2001 Cadillac DeVille Garage Find

Hello all! My grandfather is selling his house and wants to give me my late grandmother's base model 2001 Cadillac DeVille with it's V8 Northstar engine. The car has only 14,000 miles on it and supposedly had the head gasket issue (common to the Northstar) fixed at a Cadillac dealership when it blew in 2007. Regrettably, the car has not been run at all in the past 15 years (it's been sitting in the garage that whole time). I have zero intention of attempting to start the car until a mechanic can look at it, but I did want to check and see what I should have done to get the car running? I'm guessing oil, battery, visibly cracked hoses, etc. but wanted to see what other maintenance should be done to a GM vehicle of this vintage (I've budgeted to pay several times the value of the car getting it running so no worries on that end)?
