Has anyone here come from a Christian background? I'm new to Alan Watts but do enjoy his ideas. I've been following Christ for a long time. Has anyone here blended the two? Or is that silly?

I struggle with recurring sin and I wonder is it healthy for me to always be fighting such sin. It is very tiring. (personal sin- I'm not hurting anyone else) Watts seems to be more of the 'let go'...but I'm not sure.

I've been using FF and it is great. However, I need Google Meets for work, so for them time, I use Chrome as it works really well.

Would switching to Brave be both private, run Google Meets smoothly and be customizable? Is it suitable for Google meets? Is there a downside to Brave compared to FF?

The title says it all. I am considering moving to China after doing my iPGCE (Had my heart set on PGCE, but the placement is hard to come by, so I've settled for iPGCE).

I'm considering China, I'm 30 years old (male) I have 7 years experience with ESL, I have DELTA M1 + M3, I'm a native speaker.

How attractive would I be to potential bilingual & international school employers in China. Are my qualifications enough to get set up legally?

My goal would be to get there, make some money and progress my career -> QTS + MA in Education.

My old man, who is straight as an arrow let me tell ya, once told me that he missed the simplicity of the 60s-90s. You know? When there was that pervasive feeling the Cold War would turn hot and we'd all be plunged into nuclear war?
