How do I connect my irig 2 with jack through reaper?

I am on Linux mint.

So, this is a clean install of repear through a YouTube tutorial I used so there aren’t any new audio drivers I have but the standard Linux mint ones.
I am also a beginner so I might not understand some stuff, just act like I am 4 years old lol

Whenever I activate JACK in reaper it tells me that it basically can’t recognize an audio device even though I have my irig 2 plugged in.
This means I have to use ALSA which I’m guessing is similar to the standard windows drivers, so basically a standard driver that might not have the highest quality?
My issue with alsa is, that i notice it’s low quality. I have a weird white noise over everything and my guitar has a lot of gain over it (this could be a user error though)

This is what my control (?) center looks like after updating to newest mint version.

I tried to reinstall my theme but that did nothing.

Updating to the newest mint version, I have forgotten its name, my center (which I also forgotten the name for), looks like this. I can’t seem to change it anymore

Note:
I tried to get a screenshot of it but I couldn’t for some reason. So we’ll have to make do with this picture of my phone lol

I get these errors every time I try to install the multimedia codecs. What do I do here?

Keep in mind I’m a newbie if this actually has a very simple solution

Edit: it’s not my internet. Everything else works fine over the internet

Due to space constraints I have my other keyboard laying on top of the keyboard of my laptop. This results to it sometimes pressing the keys on my laptop keyboard which can get a bit annoying

I’m on Linux and proton translates DirectX into Vulkan. The problem is is that my CPU or its iGPU doesn’t necessarily work great with Vulkan (older Intel CPU), to the point that it’s unplayable on Linux compared to on windows. Now, since I don’t want to fight against windows anymore I’m looking for a way to play it through openGL since in my case it does work better than Vulkan

Edit: command as in Steam

Linux mint

Heroic launcher with proton GE

You can see my FPS in the top left.

They’re higher when I look into the sky and the terrain isn’t rendered, obviously

My settings are all on the lowest

You can also see my mods installed

Last picture is my specs

I know, that my computer absolutely sucks. But it should be in the minimum category of KSP which means I should atleast get 15-30FPS. I get 5-13 here
