Noticed a weird rash on my arm a couple days after traveling (NYC + Virginia, was outside a lot in NYC but not in Virginia, however did stay in a house in a wooded area). It’s about the size of a half dollar, round, with a darker red center. It’s a little tender if I press on it, but otherwise no symptoms (no fever, fatigue, etc.). Not itchy or painful unless pressed on.
I’m worried it could be a tick bite or early Lyme. I don’t remember actually seeing a tick on me though. Planning to get it checked tomorrow, just wanted to see if anyone’s had something similar or has thoughts on whether this looks concerning or not.
I did get bit by a mosquito at some point during travel on my leg if it at all matters.
