I have a teammate who periodically borrows my bat during our games, claiming he forgot his.

I generally have no problem with this, as I let many teammates who don't own bats use mine.

However, today I learned the real reason why. When he asked to borrow it again, I casually asked him why, and he said it was because it was too cold and he didn't want to risk breaking his own.

SMH. Mind melting behavior.

Just wanted to share, I'm sure y'all have dealt with this before.

Edit: We own the same $275ish dollar bat.
