How to dispose of dead stray safely

So there's been a presumed stray hanging around. No big deal. Stray cats exist.

I was walking my dog and I found it dead beside the hot water tank. It has been raining, so I presume it's been hiding under the house to avoid getting soaked.

It looks like it was rolling onto its back- the way a happy cat does - when it died.

Their are no visible injuries. I have two indoor cats and a dog i do not want to risk disease spreading to. Are their any precautions I need to take besides gloves to keep my cats safe when I bury the poor thing?

Location: Anderson County: SC

In 2019 an elderly relative died and left her house to my mother. In 2022 my mother died. The house is finally out of probate and I'm trying to sell it- because as much as I like the location I can't keep up with a building that big.

An inspection revealed today that the extension (added at some point in the last 40 years) is not only not up to code but actively jeapordizing the structural integrity of the original home.

Similar homes in the area in worse locations and lacking the extension are selling for upwards of $350k. This one has an extra bedroom, is within walking distance of downtown, and we will be lucky to get $100k for it as stands.

I am unsure how this passed inspection. It is not up to code.

Do I have any recourse against the inspector who passed it or builder? How would I go about finding who did it?

Today I was asking my boss about whether there's any uniform requirements regarding haircuts - my hair in fine and pretty straight/ flat but it matts intensely very very quickly.

I have to spend a good two three hours in the tub dematting it with conditioner and even then I don't always get it all.

My boss (a black woman) says it sounds like I have "black people hair".I am very white. My hair is brown/blonde.

Tonight after work I went through with a pair of scissors and just walked a good chunk of it off to get rid of matting because im tired of tearing clumps of hair out of my scalp daily just to get matts out. (Out of deference to my aunt (65) I have not just buzzed it all off again like was my initial inclination. I expect she will be upset regardless but I couldn't keep up with my hair and I can always grow it back - and maybe this time I can find a way to keep it from matting.

My boss has a lot of hair. Her hair is much better condition than mine was. I'm assuming she knows what she was talking about but I would like to figure out how to care for it before it grows out again.
