Oh my gosh has my cheeks never felt so hot and so much stinging. I was recently put on epiduo by my derm for some mild acne and texture, epiduo is a combination of adapelene and benzoyl peroxide in a gel. The first time i applied it, my skin didn’t appear to be irritated much, and i let my skin rest for 4 days before i started applying epiduo ontop of my moisturiser for the second and final time up to date. Immediately the next day after i did my night routine i noticed patches of red that had waves of numbness and stung. I’m def going to take a BIG break from epiduo until i figure out this barrier issue first. but my consistent routine used to always be sufficient in healing my barrier. I have always had a routine of cetaphil gentle cleanser, jumiso snail muscin and the aestura barrier cream and have had no problems. On my forehead however i am super prone to breakouts and i find that just snail muscin is enough. funnily enough my forehead is not sensitive at all lol but my cheeks BURN. Wanting any tips or soothing serum recommendations that could help me out. Thanks!!
