4 years of Engineering have resulted in my magnum opus

One year as a Biology major. Four years of engineering. All this has finally payed off.

Using all of the knowledge that I‘ve gained throughout my years at UB, I have managed to deploy a brand new technological feat in my kitchen today: the double decker peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Many have debated how much jelly, peanut butter, preserves and type of bread they should use. The solution to this ancient problem is to lather 2 tbsp of peanut butter on two slices of bread. Next, one slice of bread gets 2tbsp of jelly and the other gets 2tbsp of preserves. While this concoction would normally result in a PB&J overflow, the addition of a THIRD middle slice of bread prevents the overflow and allows for an absolutly incredible experience. To make this meal contain enough methionine, and thus a “complete protein” (not entirely necessary but still), I sprinkled chi seeds and hemp hearts in the middle.

This is what CSE220, MTH411, physics, and calculus have all prepared me for.

Its lonely at the top. I won’t forget where I came from.

Hey. I graduate next Friday and some family is coming to visit. My grandma is disabled and wants to get a disability seat. Any pointers on who to contact? Thanks.

I had a very open ended project for a class and decided to take a shot at implementing an encrypted IM program for the GameCube. In its current state it can communicate with computers on the same network via LAN. In my tests I had my mac connected over WiFi.

I posted asking for advice on this project before I started it a month ago. Here’s what I got so far!

The CRT is showing the hash value and cipher text of the message that was just sent, “I LOVE PRIVACY”. The laptop has a python program running which looks out for messages on a certain port and decrypts them, calculates the messages hash value, and compares it to the hash value sent by the cube. There are some potential security issues that I need to patch and the pc terminal UI is nonexistent. I’m about to graduate and be unemployed for the foreseeable while so I will be working on this a lot.

There is a lot of work left to do but this is the coolest thing that I have ever done!
