Thanks for your help: My Purchases!

Thanks for your help guys! Store didn’t have the main game I was looking for, but that’s alright because I’m hosting a party soon and these were on my list as well. They were selling for the price I expected, so I’ll probably go back sometime to keep collecting. No controller acquisition unfortunately.

Gameboy player not working with Gameboy “Memory Card”

Just bought a Gameboy Player & Memory Card from someone, and it doesn’t appear to work. I read up on all the requirements a while back, but never pulled the trigger on either. Now that I have the bundle, I can’t get it to work. I have a repro of Pokémon yellow (which may be the actual problem, idk) but I have the DOL 002 version of SSBM. The memory card for the player has some saved games on it from the seller but I didn’t feel the need to delete anything. Any suggestions?

Where should I play Gamecube games?

I bought gamecube powerA controller and then the new NSO controller thinking both would work on my steamdeck (no analog on powerA was dealbreaker, NSO doesnt connect).

I was thinking of buying the actual old console but seemed expensive to collect everything. I have been collecting all games past 15years for snes,dc,ps1,n64 but it was expensive.

I like the steamdeck all in one potential and with steam machine covering for other consoles later. But not using real controllers is a must for me to make it feel like it real console atleast. Maybe old official wired one is the solution here?

Are the n64/gamecube list of games in NSO worth going for switch2 console? Also nice to cover new exclusives there too beyond gamecube. I do have oled switch but didnt use it as much, im stuck on older games.

Im just rambling here not sure what i want but thought if i discuss it i will figure it out.

Looking to mod the GameCube to run ucf and gbi

Not sure if this is the right subreddit but I’m looking to run universal controller fix and the gameboy interface, I’m not sure if I need to soft mod it or hard mod it, I have experience soft modding other consoles and am very experienced in soldering. Just wondering whats best for my situation/cheapest
